Akamai Image Manager optimizes and delivers responsive images via Akamai’s CDN, handling formats (WebP/AVIF), resizing, retargeting, and delivery rules.

As with other Akamai China services, Image Manager works until June 2026 and then will be discontinued. Chinese users are recommended to adopt domestic image optimization services or self-hosted processing pipelines.
